Oh yeah! Who doesn’t love caramel? This quick and easy recipe uses canned caramel apple pie filling. Adding apple pie spice really brings out the creamy, rich caramel flavor. Add whipped cream and drizzle caramel sauce over the top. Once you’ve tried this pie it might become your new favorite go-to apple pie recipe.
Caramel Apple pie filling is available from Lucky Leaf and Duncan Hines Comstock. This is one of the more difficult pie fillings to find in grocery stores but it’s well worth the search. I’ve tried both brands and really didn’t notice any difference in flavor or quality. I think both brands lacked spices, which is why I recommend adding the apple pie spice to the filling.
